A 41-year-old female, of Coopersburg, was arrested for assault with bodily injury after she allegedly struck another person in the forehead with a candle and bit that person’s stomach during an argument at a residence along Church View Road, Lower Milford Township, 3:33 a.m. Jan. 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Terroristic threats
An Allentown man was taken into custody for allegedly making threats at a residence in the 6000 block of Shepherd Hills Avenue, Lower Macungie Township, 9:50 a.m. Dec. 31, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Theft
A package containing two smartphones, with a total value of $2,059.98, was removed from the porch of a residence near the intersection of Standard Lane and Grant Road, Lower Macungie Township, between 11:45 and 11:52 a.m. Nov. 26, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. A witness said a blue or gray vehicle was in the area at the time of the incident.
A resident of Truth Place, Lower Macungie Township, reported $3,309.29 in purchases were made on a stolen credit card, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Jan. 4.
DUI
A 37-year-old female, of New York, allegedly was driving under the influence in a two-vehicle crash near the intersection of U.S. Route 222 North and North Krocks Road, 6:28 a.m. Dec. 9, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorist allegedly fell asleep while northbound on Route 222 and struck a vehicle stopped at a traffic light at the intersection, according to authorities.
A 66-year-old male, of Wescosville, was placed under arrest for allegedly driving under the influence after he lost control of his vehicle and crashed into a front yard near the intersection of Brookside Road and Celia Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 12:50 p.m. Dec. 30, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 39-year-old male, of Macungie, was placed under arrest for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop along Brookside Road near Lower Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, 8:40 p.m. Nov. 29, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 30-year-old male, of Douglassville, was placed under arrest for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop along Mill Road, Upper Milford Township, 1:06 a.m. Nov. 28, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Retail theft
A 34-year-old female, of Allentown, was taken into custody for retail theft after she allegedly removed $649.06 in merchandise from retailer Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 11:15 a.m. Jan. 11, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
A 48-year-old male, of Allentown, was taken into custody for retail theft after he allegedly removed NBA trading cards, with a total value of $65.87, from retailer Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 3:02 p.m. Jan. 12, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Possession of drug paraphernalia
A 29-year-old male, of Macungie, was taken into custody for alleged possession of drug paraphernalia and an active arrest warrant after troopers responded to Reservoir Hill Road, Lower Macungie Township, to check on a person said to be walking along the shoulder of the road and stumbling into traffic 10:38 a.m. Dec. 23, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.
Defiant criminal trespass
A 43-year-old female, of Kutztown, was taken into custody for defiant criminal trespass after she allegedly refused to leave her place of employment, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident happened 4:07 p.m. Jan. 8 at a location on Alburtis Road, Lower Macungie Township.
Found property
An Apple AirTag tracking device, valued at $25, was found at retailer Costco, 791 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, Dec. 17, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The tag was taken to the state police barracks, Schantz Road.
Scam
A resident of Princeton Road, Lower Macungie Township, discovered he was swindled out of $1,000 through a fraudulent social media account, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Dec. 11, 2024.
