A. I received the Excellence in AP Pre-Calculus Award last year for my performance and understanding in the class. I have earned High Honor Roll every marking period of my high school career.

Q. Are you involved in any extracurricular activities? How has being involved in these organizations impacted your high school experience?

A. I have been the treasurer of the Future Business Leaders of America club since my sophomore year. I have also been the treasurer of the Aevidum club since my sophomore year. Additionally, I have played on the volleyball team since my freshman year. This involvement has allowed me to build meaningful relationships with like-minded individuals, and learn through new experiences. Outside of school I have been a lifeguard at the Alburtis pool every summer since my sophomore year, moving up to the head guard position last summer. This experience has taught me the value of hard work, positive attitude and accountability. It has also shaped me into a stronger leader. This school year I began working at British Swim School of the Lehigh Valley, where I am a swim instructor and deck ambassador. This job has taught me patience and made me a more well- rounded person.

Q. If you could spend an evening conversing with an historically significant person, whom would you choose? Why?

A. I would choose to spend an evening with Abraham Lincoln. I would love to learn from him. Specifically about his abilities as a leader. He is one of the strongest leaders in world history. I would want to know what he did as a person to have such a strong way of leading individuals.

Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A. I would like to be remembered for the impact which I make on my community. I would also like people to remember my positive attitude, curiosity and interest in learning.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. Don’t procrastinate. Procrastination is the biggest killer of success in this generation. Your intelligence is wasted when you procrastinate. Get stuff done, and do stuff right the first time.
