Catasauqua: Active community center to hold bingo
Whitehall Active Community Center, 2301 Pine St., will hold bingo 1 p.m. Jan. 26, with doors opening noon. Bingo will continue with tricky tray, 50/25/25 raffle, piggy number, lightning game and more.
There will be refreshments available for purchase.
Bring a nonperishable food item, pet food or paper product (facial tissues, paper towels or toilet paper) donation and receive a strip of specials to be played on the first four specials (not the jackpot).
Remember, the community center has increased the cash prize payouts.
Reserving a seat is not necessary, but call or text 610-533-1357 if you want to reserve your spot.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., would like to thank all for their recent donations to “the shelf.”
Some of the people who come to the church are homeless and have no refrigeration or cooking facilities or live in a rooming house and only have access to a microwave at best. To address their specific needs, some suggestions for “the shelf” are individual Chef Boy-ar-dee, Cup of Soup, macaroni and cheese, peanut butter and jelly, crackers, individual servings of fruit that don’t need refrigeration, bottled water, juice boxes and toiletries such as shampoo, body wash, deodorant, toothbrushes and toothpaste.
Whatever you can share is truly appreciated and helpful. Items can be placed on the offering table in the back of the sanctuary.
