Fellowship Community, a premier continuing care retirement community in Whitehall Township, has announced the appointment of J. Robert “Rob” Vaughn to its Board of Directors.

Vaughn brings extensive experience in journalism and communications, having served as a news anchor at WFMZ-TV for 37 years before retiring in 2024. Prior to his tenure at WFMZ, Vaughn worked in radio news with the Associated Press. He is also a published essayist.

He received a Bachelor of Arts from Temple University and a Master of Arts and Master of Divinity from Biblical Seminary (now Missio Seminary).

In his role on the Board, Vaughn will oversee Fellowship Community’s core values, mission and vision. He will also contribute to the organization’s strategic initiatives as a member of the Communications and Development Committee.

Fellowship Community offers a continuum of care, including independent living, personal care, memory care, short-term rehabilitation and skilled nursing.
