The Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, can help.
We have something for everyone, all free with your library card.

Never had a library card?
Apply at parkland.chilipac.com/r1s/eg/opac/register, and we will mail it to your house.
You can find print and digital materials on a variety of topics, including learning a new language, cooking healthy meals, exploring new hobbies or sports, budgeting, and much more.
Browse our shelves, ask our helpful librarians for assistance, or try digital books using the Libby and Hoopla apps.
Feeling lonely? Want to get out of the house and socialize?
Attend one of the library’s free literacy events for all ages.
Whether it’s story time, Rebel Girls, the teen advisory board, or a book discussion group, you’ll meet new people and probably add to your reading list.
Looking to play and learn at the same time?
Check out the Library of Things, where you can borrow a variety of objects, including label makers, musical instruments, and museum passes.
Need a screen-free family night? We offer jigsaw puzzles and board games suitable for various ages.
If it’s cold outside and you’re in the mood for a binge watch, get comfortable and enjoy streaming movies, documentaries, and TV episodes through the Kanopy app.
Don’t miss the chance to win small prizes and promote family literacy through the Winter Reading Challenge!
This passive event for all ages runs until Feb. 22 and can be done via the Beanstack app or on paper.
