Retail theft

A 57-year-old female, of Tennessee, allegedly switched price tickets on merchandise and was observed on surveillance video footage under ringing those items at retailer Walmart, 1091 Mill Creek Road, Lower Macungie Township, 12:39 to 12:42 p.m. Dec. 22, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The woman allegedly did not pay for 26 items with a total value of $299.53, according to authorities.

A 26-year-old male, of Allentown, allegedly removed assorted items, with a total value of $411, from Weis Markets, 3440 Grandview Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 3:44 p.m. Nov. 21, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

DUI

A 63-year-old male, of Coopersburg, allegedly was driving under the influence in the 4100 block of Dillingersville Road, Lower Milford Township, 11:57 p.m. Nov. 23, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Theft of lost or mislaid property

Two packages, with a total value of $210, were delivered to an incorrect address, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. Two residents of Chester Drive, Lower Macungie Township, reported the incident between Nov. 29 and Dec. 15, 2024, according to authorities.

Scattering rubbish

Several cardboard boxes were found in a wooded area along School House Lane, Lower Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Fogelsville. The incident was reported to police by the property owner Dec. 15, 2024.

Bags of insulation were dumped on the property of Trinity Great Swamp Church, 9150 Spinnerstown Road, Lower Milford Township, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident likely happened between 8 a.m. Jan. 3 and 12:31 p.m. Jan. 4, according to authorities.

Found property

Drug paraphernalia items, including syringes, were found at a location along County Line Road, Lower Milford Township, 2:40 p.m. Dec. 29, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Harassment

A 44-year-old male, of Macungie, allegedly hurt another person and broke that person’s glasses at a location along Sequoia Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 1:24 p.m. Dec. 28, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Theft of funds

Someone used credit card information of a resident of Macungie Road, Lower Macungie Township, to purchase $500 in items from a tech company, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported Jan. 3.

Scam

A resident of Woodmont Circle, Lower Macungie Township, was persuaded to cash a fraudulent check for $3,850 supposedly sent from a well-known beverage company in an elaborate scam, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The resident received the check in connection with a fake ad campaign.

Identity theft

A resident of Houghton Lean, Lower Macungie Township, learned her personal information was used to open a credit card account, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The resident reported the incident Dec. 17, 2024, at the state police station, Schantz Road.
