LCTI’s animal sciences and emerging health professionals programs are currently accepting applications for the 2025-26 school year. The animal sciences program is made possible by the partnership of LCTI, Lehigh Valley Zoo, Macungie Animal Hospital and Lehigh Carbon Community College, and the emerging health professionals program is made possible by the partnership of LCTI, LCCC, Penn State Lehigh Valley and Lehigh Valley Health Network.

These dual-enrollment programs are designed to give students a head-start on college and expose them to a variety of professions in animal sciences and veterinary medicine (for the animal sciences program) and health care careers (for the emerging health professionals program) through job shadows, hands-on training and clinical study at facilities across the region.

The application deadline is Jan. 24.
