The Friends of Northampton Area Public Library are currently having two fundraisers.

The first is a raffle for a basket full of winter goodies, and the winning ticket may tentatively be drawn Feb. 13.

The second is the cash lottery fundraiser tickets, each of which has four numbers that may coincide with numbers drawn by the Pennsylvania Lottery’s 7 p.m. Pick 3 drawing.

Purchase tickets now to join the fun, and test your luck for a good cause.

NASD community education opens its spring session with a water aerobics class. It is being introduced as a low-impact workout, gentle on the joints. Equipment will be provided, and instructor Susan Roberts will be in the water demonstrating and explaining all the exercises.

Classes take place 7:30-8:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays from Jan. 21 to March 4 at the Northampton Area Middle School pool, 1617 Laubach Ave. There is a cost.
