Hilda J. Kerbacher, 93, formally of Coplay and Catasauqua, died Jan. 3, 2025, at Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Daniel S. Kerbacher for 58 years.

Born in Whitehall, she was the daughter of the late James Haldeman and Sarah Longenbach.

She worked as a sewing machine operator for many years at Universal Slacks in Allentown. She also worked in packing at Durkee in Bethlehem before her retirement.

She was a former member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

She is survived by a daughter, Karen and husband Frank M. Dreisbach of Orefield; two sons, Dr. Daniel J. and wife Deborah of Berwick and Dr. James J. and wife Karen of Tacoma, Wash.; seven grandchildren, Beth, Christopher, Daniel, Amy, Brian, Mariel and Jillian; six great-grandchildren, Brennen, Myra, Mika, Belle, Ezra and Jonas; a nephew, Sterling Haldeman and wife Sue; and a sister-in-law, Esther Haldeman.

She was predeceased by a daughter, Debra Rose; and a granddaughter, Katie.
