Sheckler Home & School Association is hosting a cocoa and canvas fundraiser event Jan. 29, and there will be two time sessions available. Doors open for the first session 5 p.m., and the second session will begin 7 p.m.

Tickets are $8 per person and include all supplies and a cup of hot chocolate.

Advance tickets are required. A link to purchase tickets can be found on the Sheckler Facebook page.

An information session to join Daisy Troop 631 is planned for 6-7 p.m. Jan. 23 at St. John’s United Church of Christ, 575 Grape St., Whitehall.

The monthly school lunch menu for menu is posted on Sheckler Elementary School’s website under “food services.” There will be no meals served Jan. 20 and 27 for school closures.

Catasauqua Area School District has an early dismissal Feb. 5. Sheckler Elementary students will be dismissed 1:30 p.m.

Mark your calendar: There will be no classes Feb. 14-17 for the Presidents Day holiday.
