Congratulations to the January Roughies of the Month. The honored students are Sylvia Murzdeck, fifth grade; Katelynn Beatty, sixth grade; Ryha Miller, seventh grade; Viviana Carvajal, eighth grade; and Claire Snyder, related arts.

The students will be recognized at the Feb. 11 school board meeting.

The Catasauqua Middle School Parent Teacher Forum will have its next meeting 7-8 p.m. Jan. 21.

The end of the second marking period is set for Jan. 22. Report cards will be available starting Jan. 28.

Principal Patrick McNulty shared a few friendly reminders for families. He noted students should bring their iPads and devices home with them and make sure they are charged. Additionally, consistent school attendance is important, and student debt and outstanding balances should be paid off.
