At South 14th and Race streets, a traffic complaint was handled.

An animal complaint at Catasauqua Park and Playground, 501 American St., was investigated.

Officers assisted Whitehall police in the 500 block of Bethlehem Road.

Police conducted a welfare check in the unit block of Second Street.

At Second and Chestnut streets, a parking complaint was addressed.

A parking complaint was investigated at Second and Chestnut streets.

Police assisted citizens in the 700 block of Third Street and the unit block of Second Street.

In the unit block of Cambridge Place, a reported disturbance occurred.

An animal complaint brought police to the 100 block of Willow Street.

The department received a fireworks complaint in the 200 block of Poplar Street.

A suspicious person in the 100 block of South 13th Street was reported.

JAN. 1

A noise complaint in the 100 block of Wood Street was investigated.

Amy Richline, 51, of Catasauqua, and Michael Garcia, 33, of Catasauqua, were arrested for simple assault-mutual consent and harassment during a domestic disturbance in the 700 block of Second Street.

Reported civil matters were addressed in the 700 block of Third Street and on Front Street.

JAN. 2

A parking complaint in the 800 block of Front Street was addressed.

Police assisted a citizen in the 700 block of Second Street.

At Front and Pine streets and North 14th Street and Bridge Court, traffic stops were conducted.

Harassment by communication in the 300 block of Church Street was reported.

Officers assisted a citizen at Catasauqua Apartments, 118 Bridge St.

A warrant service in the unit block of North Fourth Street was conducted.

Parking complaints were addressed in the 100 block of Wood Street and the 700 block of Front Street.

A reported civil matter in the 200 block of Faith Drive had police at the scene.

Police conducted a welfare check in the unit block of Second Street.

In the unit block of Second Street, officers assisted a citizen.

Officers responded to a reported civil matter in the unit block of Cambridge Place.

A parking complaint brought officers to the 900 block of Bridge Court; a ticket was issued.
