Lehigh Gap Nature Center, 8844 Paint Mill Road, Slatington, will be holding a Lehigh Gap Refuge Guided Hike 8 a.m. to noon Jan. 11 from the Osprey House.

Participants will explore the trails at Lehigh Gap Nature Center on this moderate/difficult level guided hike with LGNC Caretaker Greg.

This month, participants will be hiking multiple trails within the Lehigh Gap Refuge, totaling about 7-8 miles.

They will be hiking on trails including the Mountain Loop, Prairie Grass Trail, Chesnut Oak, Double G loop, and more.

This moderate/difficult hike is suitable for experienced hikers.

Participants need to wear closed-toe hiking boots and dress for the weather and are encouraged to pack water and snacks, and wear orange due to hunting nearby on State Game Lands.

This hike is free for LGNC members.

There is a fee for nonmembers.
