Last year was a banner year for Whitehall’s boys swim team, and the Zephyrs have a brand-new swimming record board to prove it.
2024 graduates Aaron Stinner, Ian Thomas, Gabe O’Brien, and Andrew Deutsch, and senior Quinn Doyle were honored at Whitehall’s swim meet on Dec. 21, owning every school record in every boys event.
In addition, Stinner holds the Whitehall pool record in the 200 freestyle and the 200 individual medley.
Led by Whitehall coaches Pete Rile and Dave Seeloff, records tumbled early in the 2023-2024 season for the Zephyrs and continued through districts. With just one school record left to conquer, Stinner, Thomas, O’Brien, and Deutsch captured the 400 free relay record in the final meet of the season on March 2.
The Zephyr grads are currently entering the second semester of college: Stinner attends Providence College, Thomas attends Bryant University, O’Brien attends West Chester University, and Deutsch attends Muhlenberg College.
