This annual Student Film Festival event invites middle and high school students from across the Greater Lehigh Valley to showcase their film making talents with a chilling Edgar-Allan-Poe-inspired twist.

Student teams can register by visiting http://emmausarts.org/nevermore-2024-student-film-festival.

Shortly after registering, students will receive a welcome email detailing the rules and regulations for student films, as well as how to submit the completed film. Don’t delay! Registration closes to all participants Jan. 10.

The festival culminates in a spellbinding premiere and awards ceremony open to the public 2 p.m. Feb. 2 at the historic Emmaus Theatre. Watch as the eerie and imaginative films come to life on the big screen, followed by a premiere celebration honoring winners in 14 categories.

Whether you’re a budding director or a fan of Poe’s haunting tales, this event is not to be missed!

The annual Student Film Festival in Emmaus is a chance to promote inclusivity and artistic in the community with films made by students from various age groups. The goal is to offer students interested in various areas of film creation an opportunity to showcase their work, engage with their peers in collaborative and creative ways, and potentially win an award. Students are encouraged to work with friends from any school or grade as long as most members meet the required age, grade and location requirements. This event celebrates the creativity, teamwork and dedication to the arts, cinema, and design abilities of our youth in the greater Lehigh Valley area.
