William M. Wolfer Jr., 65, of Coplay, died Dec. 27, 2024, at his home after battling cancer. He was the husband of Rochelle A. (Souders) for 41 years.

Born in Allentown, he was a son of the late William M. Sr. and Helen (Stangl) Wolfer.

He graduated from Allentown Central Catholic High School.

He worked as a steel forger for Phoenix Forge in Catasauqua for more than 40 years before retiring.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son, Christopher M.; a daughter, Jennifer L. Wolfer and husband Chris Schantz; three grandchildren, Austin, Aidan and Hailey; a brother, Mark; two sisters, Cindy Sharp and husband William and Carolyn; and extended family.

He was predeceased by a brother-in-law, Greg Hoffman.
