Suzanne V. Strohl, 62, of Arlington, Va., died Jan. 2, 2025, in Virginia Hospital Center, Arlington. She was the wife of Eugene Downey Jr. for three years.

She was a daughter of Jean (Hutnick) and the late Robert Strohl.

She was an engineer for the federal government for many years.

She was a member of St. John Fisher Catholic Church, North Catasauqua.

In addition to her mother and husband, she is survived by two brothers, David and Joseph.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11 a.m. Jan. 9 at the church, 1239 Third St., North Catasauqua, 18032.
