Remember to also check on your elderly neighbors to ensure everyone is safe and warm.

The first weekend of NFL playoffs will take place Jan. 11-13. Stay inside and be warm while cheering on your favorite team to victory!

Jan. 20 is the observation of Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a national day of service. This is a great day to do some volunteering in your community.

Also, remember this is a federal holiday, so government agencies, banks and some corporations will be closed.
