Roughies Report: Catasauqua High School seeking assistant football coaches
Catasauqua High School is seeking dedicated and enthusiastic assistant football coaches to join its coaching staff for the upcoming 2025 season. There are openings for two varsity assistant coaches and one middle school assistant coach. These positions will support head coaches in developing players, implementing game strategies and fostering a positive, competitive environment.
Previous coaching experience is preferred, particularly at the middle or high school level. Potential candidates should have a strong knowledge of football fundamentals, rules and strategies and strong communication, leadership and organizational skills.
Interested candidates should submit a resume detailing their coaching experience and qualifications. A brief cover letter should accompany the resume and should explain your coaching philosophy and why you are interested in joining CHS’ football program.

Bus drivers are needed. CASD offers training opportunities for individuals interested in obtaining their commercial driver’s license. A valid Pennsylvania driver’s license is needed, and clearances are required.
The starting pay is $22.54 per hour.

Lehigh Career and Technical Institute’s animal sciences and emerging health professionals programs are currently accepting applications for the 2025-26 school year. The animal sciences program is made possible by the partnership of LCTI, Lehigh Valley Zoo, Macungie Animal Hospital and Lehigh Carbon Community College, and the emerging health professionals program is made possible by the partnership of LCTI, LCCC, Penn State Lehigh Valley and Lehigh Valley Health Network.
These dual-enrollment programs are designed to give students a head-start on college and expose them to a variety of professions in animal sciences and veterinary medicine (for the animal sciences program) and health care careers (for the emerging health professionals program) through job shadows, hands-on training and clinical study at facilities across the region.
