Ronald B. Anglestein

former Whitehall police officer

Ronald B. “Ronnie” Anglestein, 83, of Whitehall, died Dec. 30, 2024. He was the husband of the late Theresa A. “ChiChi” (Hesch) Anglestein for 63 years.

Born in Whitehall, he was a son of the late William A. and Dorothy E. (Coffin) Anglestein.

He had a distinguished career as a police officer with Whitehall Township and later retired from Stroh’s Brewery Company. He served as a bus driver for Whitehall-Coplay School District and was a tour bus driver for Palmeri Group and a transportation driver for Fellowship Community.

He is survived by a son, Christopher with Kim; a granddaughter, Chelsea with Brent Walker; three grandsons, Hunter, Timothy Smith and Zachary Smith; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.

He was predeceased by two siblings, Richard and Elizabeth.

There will be a calling time 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian burial 10 a.m., Jan. 10 at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, 122 Union St., Catasauqua, 18032.
