Nancy L. Kuntz, 89, currently residing in New Eastwood Care and Rehabilitation Center, Easton, formerly of Allentown and Schnecksville, died in St. Luke’s Hospital, Warren Campus, Phillipsburg, N.J.

Born Sept. 14, 1935, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Martin G. and Idella (Moyer) Kuntz.

A graduate of Kutztown University, with a Bachelor of Education degree, she was a teacher at Parkway Manor Elementary School in the Parkland School District for 42 years before retiring.

Her survivors include nieces Mary J. Kuntz and Barbara A. Dieter; and nephew Thomas R. Kuntz.

She was predeceased by siblings Richard G. Kuntz and Dorothy Drummer.

A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. on Jan. 9 at Union Cemetery Association of Slatington.

The Rev. Dr. David Charles Smith will officiate. There will be no public calling hours.
