Maryann M. Schaffer, 81, died Dec. 27, 2024, at Phoebe Home, Allentown. She was the wife of the late Randolph Schaffer for 39 years.

Born in Whitehall, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Etheleine (Fritz) Mertz.

She was a Whitehall High School graduate.

She worked for Western Electric for many years before her retirement.

She was a former member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

She is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Schrettner and husband David; two sons, Randolph C. and wife Lilian and David B. and wife Jennifer; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.

Services were private.
