Lee A. Diehl, 65, of Emmaus, died Jan. 2, 2025. He was the husband of Patricia A. (Barton) Diehl. Born in Allentown, he was the son of the late Lawson A. Diehl and the late Barbara E. (Kline) Queen.
He was a member of St. John’s U.C.C. in Emmaus and was a veteran of the U.S. Army.
He was a team leader at Knoll International for 42 years until his retirement.
He was a life and board member of the Citizen’s Fire Company #2 and a life member of the Mercantile Club, both in Emmaus. He was an avid sports fan, rooting for such teams as the Philadelphia Eagles, 76ers, Phillies and Georgetown Hoyas basketball. His motto for life was, “We Don’t Laugh Enough.”
He is survived by his wife; daughter, Kelly Moyer (Daniel); son, Nicholas Roth (Bethany); daughter-in-law, Adrea; sister, Donna Amig (Jeffrey); grandchildren, Cadence, Autumn, Jaxon, Chase and Avery. He was preceded in death by a son, Nicholas L.; brother, Carl Erney.
A memorial service will be held 1:30 p.m. Jan. 8 at Bachman, Kulik & Reinsmith Funeral Home, 225 Elm St., Emmaus. A visitation will be held 12:30-1:30 p.m. Jan. 8 in the funeral home.
