John L. Klucsarits Sr., 83, of North Catasauqua, died Dec. 28, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital-Muhlenberg, Bethlehem. He was the husband of Kathleen (Geiger) Klucsarits for 61 years.

Born in Coplay, he was the son of the late Frank and Theresa (Kroboth) Klucsarits.

He a 1960 graduate of Coplay High School.

He owned and operated John L. Klucsarits Contracting in North Catasauqua for more than 50 years before retiring in 2009.

He was a member of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church, Coplay.

He was a member, past president and a Paul Harris Fellow of Catasauqua Rotary Club. He also served on the Catasauqua Boys Club board for two years.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Annette Beers with Eric of Northampton; two granddaughters, Jessica Landis and Jenna Schlener-McWilliams with Ronan; a great-grandson, Jackson; two brothers, Charles with Jackie of Wind Gap and Richard with Judy of Bethlehem; three sisters, Julia Barna of North Whitehall, Celia Wechsler of Northampton and Helen Gutleber with Lawrence of Coplay.

He was predeceased by a son, John L. Jr.; two brothers, Joseph and Frank; five sisters, Rose Betz, Theresa Miskowski, Marie Keppel, Barbara and Anna.
