George D. Fister Jr., 72, of Slatington, died Dec. 31, 2024, in the Inpatient Hospice Unit of Lehigh Valley Hospital.

Born in Lehigh County, he was the son of the late George Sr. and Florence Fister.

He repaired small engines for the former Grim Sales and Service, New Tripoli, and the former Kern Brothers.

A dairy farmer for many years, he was a member of Weisenberg Lutheran Church, New Tripoli.

His survivors include sons Mark Fister of Walnutport and Brian Fister of Slatington; sister Janet Radke; four grandchildren; and friend, Charles Kistler.
