Betty A. Moran, 79, formerly of Schnecksville, died Jan. 3, 2025, in Cedarbrook Senior Care and Rehabilitation, South Whitehall.

She was the life-partner of George Zonko of Schnecksville.

Born Dec. 1, 1945, in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late John R. Diehl Sr. and Clara (Bailey) Diehl.

She was a school bus driver in the Parkland School District for 20 years before retiring in 2013.

A member of the Copeechan Fish and Game Club, Schnecksville, she enjoyed having garage sales at her home, traveling, going to NASCAR races and dining out.

In addition to her life-partner, she is survived by a son, Matthew D. Ernst, and his companion, Lori Witkowski, of Schnecksville.

A private memorial service and calling period will be held at the convenience of the family.
