Episcopal Foundation appoints new CEO

The Episcopal Church Foundation (ECF) announces that Dail St. Claire has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer, effective today. Donald Romanik stepped down from his role Nov. 30, 2024.

After a 10-month nationwide executive search, the ECF Board of Directors unanimously voted to appoint St. Claire, who has served ECF and its Endowment for over a decade as board director and adviser.

St. Claire has served as ECF’s Finance Committee Chair, overseeing its self-directed endowment fund as a board member and adviser. She is a board member of the Institute for Sustainable Communities, and a member of the Economic Club of New York, and The Common Good.

St. Claire holds a BA from the University of California, San Diego, and an MA in public policy from the University of Chicago’s Harris School.

St. Luke’s Anderson recognized

The Steven Schroeder Award for Outstanding Healthcare CEO was presented at The Leapfrog Group’s annual meeting recently to Richard A. Anderson, president and CEO of St. Luke’s University Health Network.

The Outstanding Healthcare CEO award is named in honor of Steven Schroeder, MD, Distinguished Professor of Health and Health Care at the University of California San Francisco and former President and CEO of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation.

Residents in Christmas program

Two Bethlehem residents were among Muhlenberg students taking part in the college’s 67th annual Advent Candlelight Carols Service, Dec. 7-8 — held in the Gideon F. Egner Memorial Chapel. They are Samantha Hoffman, a Bethlehem Catholic graduate, and Freedom HS graduate Samantha Marrero.
