Linda Rezende Marques, 75, of Bethlehem, died Dec. 30, 2024, at St. Luke’s Anderson Campus. Born in Fountain Hill, she was a daughter of the late Arlindo A. and Julia A. (Amaral) Rezende. She was the wife of Manuel S. Marques for 47 years.

She earned a master’s degree from Kutztown University.

She worked for ManPower. She then became a teacher at Broughal M.S. and retired from Liberty H.S., all in the Bethlehem Area School District. She was one of a small group of teachers who began the school-to-work program in partnership with St. Luke’s.

She was an member of Holy Infancy Roman Catholic Church, Bethlehem.

She was a member of the Portuguese American Club, Bethlehem.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline M. (Todd M.) Womelsdorf of Huntingdon Valley and Diana R. (Michael D. Roberson) Marques of Wayne; a brother, Albert (Nancy) Rezende of Bethlehem; and a grandson, Xavi Womelsdorf.
