DUI

A 32-year-old male, of Bethlehem, was arrested for allegedly driving under the influence after a traffic stop in the 800 block of Oplinger Road, Lower Macungie Township, 1:02 a.m. Dec. 17, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Accident

A motorcyclist was hurt when he was ejected from his motorcycle along Heritage Drive in the area of Greystone Drive, Lower Macungie Township, 12:46 p.m. Nov. 26, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The motorcycle was westbound when the driver lost control and the motorcycle rolled onto its left side, throwing the driver to the ground. The motorcycle continued west and struck a parked car. The motorcyclist was transported by ambulance to Lehigh Valley Hospital, according to authorities. Macungie Ambulance crews also responded.

Retail theft

A 36-year-old male, of Jim Thorpe, allegedly removed various vinyl records, with a total value of $215.43, from retailer Target, 749 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, Nov. 26, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville.

Two people allegedly worked together to remove various shampoos and perfumes with a total value of $1,688 from retailer Ulta Beauty, 833 N. Krocks Road, Lower Macungie Township, at approximately 2:42 p.m. Nov. 15, 2024, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The items were hidden inside a jacket at the time of the alleged theft, according to authorities.

Theft from vehicle

Someone removed items from three unlocked vehicles along Kings Highway South, Lower Milford Township, including 3M wireless earbuds, valued at $100, Apple AirPod earbuds, valued at $200, an external rechargeable battery, valued at $100, cologne, a box cutter, an unknown amount of change, a purse containing various items with a total value of $25, a school backpack and a laptop computer valued at $100, according to Pennsylvania State Police Fogelsville. The incident was reported 7:23 a.m. Nov. 19, 2024.
