Plan to support SHS baseball with cash bingo

I hope everyone had a merry Christmas and got to spend time with family and friends. I’d also like to wish a Happy Hanukkah to those who celebrate.

All Salisbury Township schools will remain closed for the winter holiday though Jan. 3. Schools will reopen Jan. 6.

If you’re looking for something to do during the break, Lights in the Parkway is again holding Move-it Mondays. The Parkway is closed to vehicles and allows visitors to walk, run or bike through the displays. The remaining date for Move-it Mondays is Jan. 6.

Coca-Cola Park continues with its Illuminations festivities 6-9 p.m. through Jan. 4. There are music synchronized lights every 15-20 minutes as well as pictures with Santa, a train ride and s’mores around a fire pit.

Salisbury High School baseball will hold its third annual cash bingo Feb. 3. Doors open 11:30 a.m. with bingo starting 1 p.m. Tickets are discounted in advance for the 20 games. Tickets can be reserved via a baseball family or via Venmo @TRISHA-DICKERT under “what’s it for.” Include bingo-reservation name. You can also email SHSfalconBB@gmail.com. The concession stand will be open and sponsored by the SHS girls basketball team. There will also be basket raffles, pull tabs and a 50/50 drawing.

I’d like to wish everyone a happy and safe new year! Whether you are the type to make resolutions or not, let’s hope that we can make 2025 the best it can be!
