There will be an Epiphany service and Holy Communion 7 p.m. Jan. 6 at Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church, 4331 Main St., Egypt.

Epiphany is a commemoration of the visit of the three kings to the infant Jesus.

Egypt Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7293, 5209 Springmill Road, will be hosting concerts by Tim Harakal Jan. 10, Third Hand Band Jan. 11, Ricky Smith and the Crush Jan. 18, TKB Trio Jan. 24 and Sons of Izzy Jan. 25. All concerts begin 7:30 p.m.

People who have a family member who served in the military may qualify to join the Post’s military auxiliary. Members of the auxiliary are eligible to participate in community service projects for veterans, join events that promote patriotism and connect with others who value military service.
