Sign up your child for the 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten program. Read any book to your newborn, infant and/or toddler. Keep track of the titles of the books on our convenient reading log sheets or any other method you choose.
When patrons reach 50 and then for each hundred books, they will get an award. There is no time limit to the program, and more than one child can participate.

Our Fiber Arts and Friends group meets 1-2 p.m. Wednesdays. Whether you want to learn to crochet, knit, work on a current project or get advice from our experts, join us for a relaxing and instructive hour. We have extra yarn and knitting/crochet needles for you to use if needed.
Both adults and teens are welcome.

We have a selection of fiction and nonfiction books for sale year-round. We also have CDs and DVDs. This month, the library is featuring holiday-themed selections.
***
You don’t have to wait for our spring sale to donate to the library. We accept donations of books, DVDs, CDs and puzzles all year. See our donations policy on our website or call the library.
For your safety, drop off donations at the circulation desk during open hours. Do not leave donations at the front door.

If you need to use a computer to search for information or print something, we have six public access computers for you to use. You just need to show your library card at the front desk when you come into the library.
If you do not have a library card, it only takes a few minutes to get one. All you need is a form of ID, like a driver’s license.
Library cards are free and may be used at 12 libraries in Lehigh and Carbon counties.
For more information, call the library or check out our website, coplaypl.org.

If you can’t make it into the library, use the Libby app for thousands of free reading materials. You’ll need your library card number and your PIN.

Our primary concern is the safety of our patrons and staff. While we will make every effort to remain open, there may be times this winter it is necessary to close the library. The library does not follow the school schedule for closings. We list early and full-day closings on WFMZ television, on wfmz.com/stormcenter and on our Facebook page. Check those sources before making the trip here.
Keep safe!

The library is open 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays.
