Allen Township Board of Supervisors next meets 6 p.m. Jan. 6 in the municipal building, 4714 Indian Trail Road. This will be the annual reorganization meeting.

The next regular meeting is planned for 6 p.m. Jan. 14.

East Allen Township Board of Supervisors reorganization meeting is set for 7 p.m. Jan. 6 in the municipal building, 5344 Nor-Bath Blvd.

The next regular supervisors meeting is set for 7 p.m. Jan. 9.

East Allen Township Historical Society will meet 7 p.m. Jan. 15.

Try to adhere to these Allen Township winter weather practices.

Clear around your trash and recycling containers. Do not place bags or containers in the street or on top of snow piles. Make sure all trash is bagged, but be mindful of where you place white garbage bags to avoid them being overlooked in the snow. Bring cans in after collection.

Missed pickups happen. Contact JP Mascaro at 1-800-333-4624 or the township office building at 610-262-7012 to report missed pickups.

Remove snow from around the fire hydrant on your property. Move vehicles, trailers, basketball hoops, etc., from the street during snow emergencies. Sidewalks should be cleared or covered with salt.
