If you like to knit or crochet, Union UCC is looking for volunteers to make baby blankets for families who are having a child baptized.
The size should be about 32-inches square in gender neutral colors such as yellow, sage, variegated or white.
The blankets must be soft.
The church could also use a few larger ones for older children getting baptized.

In 2000, Union Lutheran Church dedicated its new building which has become a place not only for worship but also for many religious and social events for the congregation and community.
The roof is at the end of its 25-year life span.
The congregation has begun a campaign to raise $180,000 to replace the roof and clean the steeple.
