Barry N. Heintzelman, 93, of Fogelsville, died on Dec. 28, 2024, in Luther Crest retirement community, South Whitehall.
Born in the Lehigh Valley, he was the son of the late Alvin H. and Violetta E. (Moatz) Heintzelman.
He did lab maintenance for the former Trojan Chemical Co. for 40 years.
He was secretary of the United Chemical Workers Union and enjoyed hunting and fishing.
He was a lifetime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Fogelsville, where he sang with the choir, taught Sunday School, was a member of church council and was with the cemetery association for many years.
His survivors include children Diane Heintzelman of Allentown, Lori McNally (Patrick) of Carrollton, Texas, and Roger Heintzelman; grandchildren Hannah McNally and Briana Heintzelman; and great-grandson Harlan Shaffer.
He was predeceased by a sister, Althea Frye.
His funeral service will be 11 a.m. Jan. 4 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1028 Church St., Fogelsville, with the Rev. Nelson Quiñones officiating.
Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m. Interment at Fogelsville Union Cemetery.
