The Lady Falcons went into the holiday break with a 53-20 win over Notre Dame of East Stroudsburg on Saturday. The win snapped a three-game slide and puts Salisbury at 2-5 overall and 1-4 in Colonial League games.
Earlier in the week, Kendra Morgan scored 12 points against Northern Lehigh, but the Bulldogs were able to take a 59-38 win over the Falcons. Sophia Gunning hit three shots from beyond the arc to finish with nine points in the loss.
Another scheduled game against Moravian Academy was postponed due to weather and will be made up on January 21. A postponed game against Jim Thorpe will be played on January 18.
The Falcons return with a pair of nonleague games starting on Friday. In the first game, the Falcons host Kutztown and then play at Panther Valley on Saturday to close out the 2024 portion of their schedule. The 2025 schedule opens with a pair of home games with Southern Lehigh coming in on the third and Catasauqua on the seventh.
Individual scoring and statistics from the win over Notre Dame of East Stroudsburg were not received by the Press.
