Hornet boys wrestlers shut out Wolves

The Emmaus High School boys wrestling team beat East Stroudsburg North 73-0 last Wednesday on the road.

It was the second straight conference dual win for Emmaus, which will not have another EPC match until the new year.

In the win against the Timberwolves, the Hornets won all 13 bouts, including eight pins, three forfeits, one major decision and one decision.

Jackson Max, Emilio Albanese and Levi Max all opened the match with back-to-back-to-back pins at 107, 114 and 121 pounds, respectively. Tommy Fallstich , Jesse Scott, Xayden Sallit, Massimo Tranguch and Logan Roth also all earned pins. Logan Armstrong recorded a 16-5 major decision at 152 pounds and Chancellor Henry picked up a 5-4 decision at 145. Teagan Caciolo, Xyler Sallit and Ashir Choudhry all won by forfeits at their respective weight classes. It was the first shutout of the season for the Hornets.

Emmaus, which improved to 7-3 overall and 2-1 in the conference, will finish off the 2024 calendar year at the Bethlehem Holiday Classic.
