The Final Fling of 2024, a burlesque and variety show featuring The Steel Stilettos, will be Dec. 28 held at Petersville Rod and Gun Club, 550 Club Road. The doors open 7 p.m., and the show begins 8 p.m.

You must be 18 or older to enter and 21 or older at the bar.

The kitchen and bar will be open. There is free parking. The presale price saves you $5, and tickets will be available at the door.

Emmanuel’s Lutheran Church, 3175 Valley View Drive, will be having a lessons and carols service 9:30 a.m. Dec. 29 in the fellowship hall.

Petersville Rod and Gun Club will be having its first all-you-can-eat breakfast of the new year 8-11 a.m. Jan. 5, 2025. There will be something for everyone, and children under age 5 eat for free.

Due to a staff relocation, Emmanuel’s church is in need of a new part-time choir director, requiring about six hours per week. The choir director leads the church choirs, including handbell/chime choirs, and provides piano music for worship services and other church functions.
