Q. What is your favorite subject? Why?

A. My favorite subject is math because I felt as if I was always good with numbers and I am looking to pursue a career in business.

Q. Have you received any special awards or recognition?

A. I have been awarded varsity letters in football and track as well as being inducted into National Honor Society.

Q. Are you involved in any extracurricular activities?

Q. What is your next goal after high school?

A. After high school I plan on majoring in accounting/finance at the University of Pittsburgh.

Q. What do you consider your biggest challenge to date?

A. I feel my biggest challenge to date was finding a balance between sports, school and a social life. It can sometimes be difficult to make time for everything, but I learned it is important to have good time management and set priorities for what needs to be done.

Q. For what would you like to be remembered?

A. I would like to be remembered as a friend or teammate who was seen as a leader, someone who always lifted others up and someone who worked hard to accomplish his goals. I hope people remember me as someone who inspired and supported them to be their best.

Q. If you could spend an evening conversing with any historically significant person, whom would you choose? Why?

A. I would choose Vince Lombardi, the legendary football coach, because of his philosophy on leadership and hard work. I always loved his famous quote, “The price of success is hard work.” I’d love to hear how he inspired his players to give their best and how his lessons about teamwork and discipline could apply to my own life.

Q. Do you have any advice for your peers?

A. My advice to my peers is to keep pursuing whatever goals you have and to not take shortcuts. Everything will eventually work out the way you want if you keep working hard to achieve your goals.
