Donald T. Ruch, 86, of Macungie, died Dec. 18, 2024, at home.

He and his wife, Elaine K. (Riedy) Ruch, shared 63 years of marriage.

Born in Nazareth, he was the son of the late Dallas M. and Miriam A. (Heckman) Ruch.

He was a member of the former Hope United Church of Christ, Allentown.

Before retiring in 2003, he worked 40 years as an assembler at the former W.F. Moser and later Olson Technologies.

He will be remembered for his love of gardening and he was an avid bowler for many years in various leagues.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by a son Brian of Macungie; and sisters Lorraine Miller of Kutztown and Anna Ruch of Phoenixville.

He was predeceased by his brothers Earl and Richard, and sister Louise A. Smith.
