D. Raymond Bainbridge

member of St. John’s Lutheran Church

D. Raymond Bainbridge, 83, of Kempton, died Dec. 12, 2024, at home.

He was the husband of the late Deborah J.C. (Schuler) Bainbridge.

Born in Trenton, N.J., he was the son of the late Dunham Bainbridge and Marion (Grove) Bronson.

He graduated from Steinert High School and Rider College in New Jersey.

After proudly serving in the U.S. Air Force, he was a CPA and went on to earn his Master’s degree and Ph.D. from Lehigh University.

He was an associate professor of accounting at Lehigh from 1972 to 2001.

A loving father and grandfather, he was an avid traveler and RVer seeing wondrous sights across the globe alongside his wife.

He loved sports, especially playing golf and watching his favorite team, the Philadelphia Phillies.

He was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, Fogelsville, where he served on church council.

His survivors include his son John Bainbridge (Molly); daughter, Ashley Moyé; daughter, April Krempasky (Joseph); and son, Scott Bainbridge (Tanya); siblings Judy Garrison, Jack Bainbridge (Debbie) and Caren Godwin; and grandchildren Shea, Kyle, Megan, Brenton, Sofie, Scott and Isabelle.

His memorial service will be 11 a.m. Dec. 28 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, 1028 Church St., Fogelsville, with the Rev. Nelson Quiñones officiating.

Visitation will be from 10-11 a.m.

Interment at Fogelsville Union Cemetery.
