2025 brings various programs to Parkland Community Library

Parkland Community Library, 4422 Walbert Ave., South Whitehall, will be closed Dec. 31 and Jan. 1, 2025, for the New Year.

My Snowy Day Book Craftivity for kids ages 4 and older will be offered 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Dec. 27 and 30; and Jan. 2, 2025.

Kids bundle up and spend some time outside in the library’s garden reading “The Snowy Day” by Ezra Jack Keats in a winter story walk.

Then warm up inside while you construct your own snowy day book craft, a self-portrait while donning Peter’s famous red coat and answer questions about your snowy day.

A Snowy Day Book Movie Pajama Party will take place 3-4 p.m. on Dec. 27.

The Coloring Club for Adults will take place from 2-4 p.m. Jan. 2, 2025.

Spend an afternoon coloring.

Yarn lovers of all ages and skill levels are welcome to attend the Fiber Arts Not Just Knitting group 2-4 p.m. Jan. 2, 2025.

Bring materials for an afternoon of knitting with friends and swapping tips.

The Book Club for Adults will meet from 6:30-7:30 p.m. on Jan. 2, 2025.
