Family: Mother (Sharon), Father (Ronald), and older sister (Hazel)
Favorite subject(s): My favorite subjects in school are history and math. I love art, of course, but those are my favorite academics.
Activities: I have played soccer for my district recreational team since I was four. I am also the vice president of the Book Club, part of the National Art Alliance, National Honor Society, National Society of High School Scholars and Student Council.
Next steps: I plan on attending college to study fashion design and marketing in New York City, London or Paris.
Career goals: I aim to be a Fashion PR Manager or Fashion Project Manager.
Heroes: A few people I look up to are Iris Apfel, for her passion for personal expression and successful business creation, Taylor Russel, for her gentle personality and demeanor and my mother and older sister Hazel, for their passion for art and tenacity.
Hobbies: In my free time, I love to knit, read, cook, draw, listen to my favorite bands and hang out with my friends.
Current job(s): I am a lower manager at a local ice cream creamery called “Owowcow.”
Volunteer/community work: I volunteer at my soccer club and for my school to help where I am needed.
Likes: I like peonies, matcha, fashion, mango, Wes Anderson movies, fall, music, Manchester United and rain.
Dislikes: Licorice, Haunted houses, sardines, skinny jeans and banana flavoring.
Greatest accomplishment (so far): I feel my greatest accomplishment has been winning the first place Lehigh Valley Art Alliance award for my artwork in 2023 and perhaps getting chosen for this highlight.
Advice for peers: I know it’s a cliché, but just be authentic and realize that you are controlling your own future, so don’t let it take over your decisions for you.
