Santa Claus paid an early visit to Hanover (Norco) Township Dec. 7, stopping by two breakfasts held at the township’s community center and listening to the children’s requests for Christmas gifts. The sound of a deep “Ho Ho Ho” from Santa alerted families to his arrival.
About 170 families registered for the two breakfast sessions with Santa, where a hearty menu of bagels, bacon, hash browns, scrambled eggs, orange juice and coffee was served. Each child was given an opportunity to meet with Santa, pose for photos and receive a small gift.
Troop 302 Boy Scouts provided services and township officials prepared breakfast. Local businesses Fiamma Italian Grill and Three Men and a Bagel contributed breakfast food items.
