retired from Mack Trucks

Stanley R. Parenti, 83, of Breinigsville, died Dec. 14, 2024.

On June 18, 1966, he married Doris Marcia (Lewis) Parenti.

They just celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary

He was the son of the late Peter and Dorothy (Beahm) Parenti of Bethlehem.

He served his country in the U.S. Army for four years as artillery track vehicle maintenance personnel and received the Good Conduct Medal, a Marksman Award, and a Korea Defense Service Medal.

He worked at Key Pontiac, Park Manor Mobil, and retired from Mack Trucks as a spray painter and a sheet metal finisher.

He was known for driving his 1957 Chevy and for his customized 1965 El Camino that was an ISCA Show winner.

He was known for his merry heart, generous spirit, and gifted hands.

He was a humorous soul who helped Santa spread Christmas cheer.

He always helped those in need and had a knack for fixing cars and building things.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by daughters Sheree (Tommy) and Judy; sons Michael (Kiana) and Matt (Jaisek); 11 grandchildren; one great-grandson, brothers Eugene, Ralph and Charles; and a sister, Cindy.

A celebration of his life will be 2 p.m. Dec. 22 in Stephens Funeral Home Inc. 274 North Krocks Road, Allentown.

Friends and family may call 1-2 p.m. Sunday in the funeral home.

Military honors will conclude the service in the “Garden” of the funeral home.

Interment 10 a.m. Dec. 23 in Fort Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville.
