Frank R. Sommer, 52, of Saylorsburg, formerly of Whitehall, died Dec. 13, 2024, at Lehigh Valley Hospital, Salisbury Township.
He and his wife, Michelle L. “Myssi” (Rumfield) Sommer, were married 18 years.
Born Feb. 6, 1972, in Allentown, he was the son of Francis R. Sommer of Whitehall and Sharon L. (Bennett) Sommer-Hahn of Whitehall.
A self-employed contractor for many years, in his youth, he was a member of the Boy Scouts of America, Troop 79, Whitehall, earning an Eagle Scout Award.
He was of the Catholic faith.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is survived by a brother, Timothy R. Sommer and his wife, Stacy, of Whitehall; nephew, Gregory; niece, Audra; mother-in-law, Rita Rumfield; aunt, Joanne Sommer; cousins Autumn, Ronald, Patrick and Zackary; uncle, George Ramos; cousin, Krysta; family member, Savannah Sommer; and Service Dog, Bella.
