A record 83 Muhlenberg College student-athletes have been named to the Centennial Conference Academic Honor Roll for the fall 2024 season.
The award honors sophomore or higher student-athletes who carry at least a 3.40 cumulative grade-point average.
Local awardees include:
Allentown: Ava Lundy, a sophomore member of the women’s cross country team and a graduate of Parkland High School, Lundy is studying environmental science, and Daniel Patruno, a sophomore member of the men’s soccer team and a graduate of Allentown Central Catholic High School, Patruno is studying neuroscience; and
Orefield: Gabriel Blikshteyn, a sophomore member of the men’s soccer team and a graduate of Parkland High School,
Blikshteyn is studying biology.
More than 30 percent of Muhlenberg students participate in the college’s 23-sport intercollegiate athletics program.
The red and grey Muhls are part of the NCAA Division III, Centennial Conference.
The college’s athletic programs are designed to motivate and empower students to develop leadership, well-being, sportsmanship and interpersonal skills while nurturing a sense of civic responsibility.
