Local resident recognized

for sportsmanship

Ava Lundy of Allentown, is one of seven Muhlenberg College athletes who have been recognized for their behavior on the field, court and course with their selection to the 2024 Fall All-Centennial Conference Sportsmanship Team.

Established by the conference’s Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, the All-Sportsmanship Team honors a member from each squad who displayed good sportsmanship throughout their career.

A member of the college’s women’s cross country team, Lundy is studying environmental science at Muhlenberg.

More than 30 percent of Muhlenberg students participate in the college’s 23-sport intercollegiate athletics program.

The red and grey Muhls are part of the NCAA Division III, Centennial Conference.

The college’s athletic programs are designed to motivate and empower students to develop leadership, well-being, sportsmanship and interpersonal skills while nurturing a sense of civic responsibility.
