Historic Bethlehem is inviting you to its museums for a special tree tour this holiday season.

At three historic sites, the Kemmerer Museum on New Street, the Moravian Museum on Church Street and the Single Sisters House next door to the Moravian Museum, one will see beautifully decorated themed Christmas trees decorated by members of the Bethlehem Garden Club. Each tree follows the theme of National Parks and Heritage Sites. Of course, there is a tree for the City of Bethlehem.

Visitors are asked to vote for their favorite trees. When the votes are tallied, the Garden Club team who decorated the winning tree will earn bragging rights until next Christmas, according to Carol Stager, a volunteer at the Kemmerer Museum.

Some of the themes include Mardi Gras, Independence Hall and The Statue of Liberty/NYC. These are just a few of the many beautifully decorated trees you will see on the tour.

Please check the hours of the museums before buying tickets, as the museums have differing hours. A ticket also includes the art exhibition at Luckenbach Mill. One can walk easily from one museum to another, and the mill is a five-minute walk or a two-minute drive from the Moravian Museum. Handicapped access to the tour is limited by stairs.
