St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 122 Union St., has announced its Christmas services.

Christmas confessions are scheduled for 3:30-3:50 p.m. Dec. 21.

On Dec. 24, Christmas Eve, there will be a children’s pageant held 3:30 p.m. Christmas Eve Masses are set for 4 p.m. and 8 p.m.

On Dec. 25, Christmas Day, there will be a Mass 10 a.m.

Catasauqua Community Thrift Shop, 113 Bridge St., will be closed Dec. 23-Jan. 1, 2025 for Christmas. The shop will reopen Jan. 2, 2025.

Regular thrift store hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Wednesdays and Saturdays.

The thrift shop is happy to accept donations of good, used, clean clothing, household items and toys during store hours. Proceeds from the shop are returned to the community through contributions that support youth and adult programs and services.

Holy Trinity Memorial Lutheran Church, 604 Fourth St., is once again having its Warm-up Wednesdays initiative. Every Wednesday through March, there will be free soup 4-6 p.m. for the church family and community, merged with weekly games, karaoke and puzzle nights 6-8 p.m. Come out for a very enjoyable evening!
